Desde a primeira descoberta de Stabroek, j\u00e1 foram anunciadas mais 16 novas, que geraram projetos de desenvolvimento de oito bilh\u00f5es de barris de petr\u00f3leo. A Exxon juntamente com a Hess e a CNOOC, come\u00e7ou a produzir do campo de Stabroek, em dezembro de 2019, atrav\u00e9s do FPSO Liza Destiny, com capacidade de 120 mill barris \/dia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outra unidade flutuante est\u00e1 sendo planejada, com capacidade de 220 mil barris\/dia e uma terceira est\u00e1 sendo considerada. Ao todo, 500 mil barris di\u00e1rios poderiam ser produzidos ainda na pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, o equivalente da produ\u00e7\u00e3o nacional do Equador.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Guiana deve vir a representar cerca de 8% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o mundial da EXXON, em finais desta d\u00e9cada de vinte. Assumindo uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica no portf\u00f3lio de investimentos da empresa. Como exemplo disso, a petrol\u00edfera anunciou um investimento de US$200 bilh\u00f5es em projetos de \u00f3leo e g\u00e1s pelo mundo nos pr\u00f3ximos sete anos. H\u00e1 ainda a possibilidade de lan\u00e7arem novos projetos de desenvolvimento no bloco de Stabroek, prevendo atualmente uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o no local de mais de 750 mil barris por dia at\u00e9 2025.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As atividades explorat\u00f3rias tamb\u00e9m atingem o Suriname (a espanhola Repsol e a Chevron, al\u00e9m da japonesa Inpex).
